My mod mic works great with my hd6xx for work calls.

I like the sound of the ATH-M50s but they clamp so hard which makes it more uncomfortable for me.

There's a user that does the replaceable cable mod on etsy:

The DT 770s look just like what I want, thank you! For the microphone, mostly for gaming with other people, but I do also hang out with a friend who streams on Twitch. I don't have a ton of desk space, so something like the modmic seems like the way to go.

Antilon sells a dt770 pro bundle with a mod mic.

Anyone have experience with TRN BT20 Pros?

Or anything similar in this price range? I would love to add bluetooth to some of my IEMs I have sitting around.

I have the very similar ones from KZ and they work pretty good. As Dr. Fish says nothing fancy but they get the job done.

They do what they say on the box, that's about it. For $20, they sound fine and are worth it imo, but don't expect low latency codecs or noise cancelling or any of the usual tws bells and whistles. For that, the Space Travel is the only option in that price range.

Thanks! I'm just looking for something that I can use for going to the gym and going for walks. I should've mentioned that in my original post, sorry. Sounds like they'll fit the bill.

You're really tempting me to pick up a pair.

Yeah, I've been looking into getting a pair of Planar IEMs. I really like my HE4xx and wanted a portable version.

Is this the best place to get them?

Just wanted to chime in to say I haven't had issues driving the 6xx or 770s off of a headphone jack without an amplifier.

Sent my DT770s to that modder on etsy to have the cable replaced with a headphone jack and I'm so happy with the results.

Now if Priscilla eats a headphone cable it's $10 to replace it rather than $150-200 depending on the price of a DT770 at the time.

Edit: Here's the modder I used, though there's a few people that do it. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1556768807/beyerdynamic-770880990-etc-modding?ref=yr_purchases

Thanks for sharing! I've been looking into having that mod done to my headphones and that's the cheapest I've seen it offered for.
