RME has a remote control app for the ADI-2 DAC that can control every setting, including adding names to the 20 EQ presets.

Here are a bunch of Harman target EQ settings you can directly enter into the ADI-2.

This is how I’m hiding from my family for the holiday.

I'm surprised that many people have such an expensive DAC but it is apparently one of the best ones you can get and it actually does stuff like EQ and have a good headphone amp unlike most giant R2R audiophile monstrosities.

The ADI-2 DAC cost a lot and is serious overkill, but it’s also the last stereo dac and headphone amp I will ever need to own.

It’s objectively perfect and exceeds the limits of human hearing by a huge margin. Plus it’s loaded with features nothing else has. Bit-perfect playback verification, incredible DSP, very flexible EQ, per-ear adjustment, etc

Even the manual is cool. It’s just page after page of “and then we did this other thing to be even more extra”

If you’re happy with a 7506, a 280pro will probably feel like a head-vise.

Drop x Sennheiser HD 58X are one of the cheapest ways to get into planar magnetics,

Those aren’t magneplanar, though?
