I say it's Rubber Soul. I think that might actually be my favorite of theirs. But it seems like only big fans talk about it. I just really like the vibe of the whole album and how it flows. The main song people know from it is Norwegian Wood but the rest is pretty dang good too I think. I know not everyone likes the Beatles but if you haven't heard it before give it a listen, you might not hate it!

The only way to get huge fast is to insult a passing witch and hope she curses you with Beast-strength.

Yeah that’s probably it, OP. Good cover, too.

In 1988 or so I got into a legit argument with my Dad about the song Helter Skelter. My position was the Motley Crue cover was clearly superior. He maintained that the Beatle's original was better,

I still think the Crue version is better.

I ordered luscious new gemstones from India and made new earrings for my SA mart thread

Remember my earrings and art are much better than my posting

New stuff starts towards end of page 3 of the thread

The worst Motley Crue song is far superior to even the greatest Beatles song so you were right op

John Lennon would put a bullet in his brain if he heard five seconds of Girls Girls Girls

Please Please Me went kinda hard. I don't care for the covers but it still sticks out to me among their cheesy early stuff.

I will step back and be completely serious when I say that Yoko deserved better. Everyone around her was a sexist jackass who hated her guts for very dumb reasons. Like, there are good reasons not to like her, but come the gently caress on.

1969's Hey Jude for its lineup of B-sides. would have been a treasure to own back in the day. that is more of a compilation though.
