Yeah, this whole thing is so  .Dude already did his time in a ROK jail and they were willing to let him go back to US custody. Based on news reports at the time it happened, he was being sent back stateside to catch some level of Army disciplinary action, and probably discharge, but now he's almost definitely going to catch a court martial for his shenanigans. At the very least, Article 15 for AWOL. He'll still get kicked out of the Army, but probably with some prison time first and then a dishonorable or BCD.
