Dick Jones posted:Yeah before PG-13 was invented, you could get away with a lot in a PG movie. Splash, Dragonslayer, and Poltergeist really pushed the limits of PG. I think Temple of Doom was the last straw that got the MPAA to make a new rating. Poltergeist. That was the third one I couldn't remember. Spielberg produced that and Gremlins and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Those three were the cause of PG-13. Look it up. Steven Spielberg is solely responsible for the PG-13 rating. What a loving hero
