From what I googled, the camera zooms out to avoid showing a gay kiss in XVI. XIII can't have had lesbian characters seeing as it didn't even have characters period, just cardboard cutouts doing weeb grunts, and a guy with a bird in his afro. I quit that game in disgust after about 2 hours. I also refuse to recognize XIV, XI was and is the better game and if they're so progressive they could have put gay weddings into it. It's literally flipping a byte to support it, lol

They don’t show any of the kisses in the game in detail because animating kisses is incredibly hard and usually looks like poo poo. It pans away from more than one hetero kiss too. The only kiss in the game that happens in close up is framed so you can’t see their faces.
