there’s also no justification for your belief that the marine was a tourist. there are thousands of young veterans who come to new york for school or work. For that matter, there are thousands who grew up here and return after their service. But it doesn’t matter because everyone, tourist or not, has the right to use the loving subway without being intimidated. That’s not “part of the fabric of the community” it’s a loving problem which every progressive administration ignores until they lose to a right-wing administration that exploits it
