Everyone knows him for his horror stuff, but to this day Starman is one of the only romantic comedies I go back to, and Big Trouble in Little China is still the most iconic "comic book" movie I've ever seen. Dude could kill it in any genre (and compose the score at the same time). Would have been great to see what he was capable of if Hollywood hadn't done him so dirty.

The Thing is kinda my favorite movie. In The Mouth of Madness is kinda even better. Prince of Darkness wasn't the best but it's always a delight to see Donald Pleasance in a B movie. "Pyuma Man!" How did Hollywood do him dirty? I mean aside from the usual thing of not supporting a great artist because he's "too weird" to be "commercially viable." The soundtrack for Escape from New York is in my queue a few times a year at least. Dark Star is a hilarious movie, the bit about arguing with the bomb absolutely killed me.

This works so well. The colour matching is great and the lighting even looks good with how hosed the original was. Also, now that I think of it, Biff and Trump would def have been friends working on trying to perfekt a fusion dance. Not so much a  as a realization.
