I know someone else said he looked like the Grinch, but here's my take.

His hands were two sizes too small.

It's quite funny. The people who made it would go on to do some scary stuff later, though.

John Carpenter was a super underrated filmmaker. Everyone knows him for his horror stuff, but to this day Starman is one of the only romantic comedies I go back to, and Big Trouble in Little China is still the most iconic "comic book" movie I've ever seen. Dude could kill it in any genre (and compose the score at the same time). Would have been great to see what he was capable of if Hollywood hadn't done him so dirty.

The Thing is kinda my favorite movie. In The Mouth of Madness is kinda even better. Prince of Darkness wasn't the best but it's always a delight to see Donald Pleasance in a B movie. "Pyuma Man!"

How did Hollywood do him dirty? I mean aside from the usual thing of not supporting a great artist because he's "too weird" to be "commercially viable."

After watching the trailer, how have I never seen this movie? It looks amazing.
I'm adding it to the library right now.

It takes a minute to get to the good part but even the slow beginning has just a uniquely eery atmosphere.
