  Going back about 15 years, I was out shopping for some clothes and I came across this shirt at a Macy's of all places. MACY'S! It was $50 which was way more money than I'd spend on a shirt at that time, but just look at the thing, I had to have it. After my purchase I joined some friends for some heavy drinking out by the river. Things got a bit hazy but I do remember riding in my friends truck with some other people, shirtless. Waking up the next morning it became clear I wasn't going to be able to visit whichever locations we were at the previous afternoon/evening so I could look for it. Sadly I had to write it off as a loss. Fast forward to a couple years ago. I'm browsing around on ebay for absinthe related items. I'm unemployed at the time so I wasn't really looking to buy anything I was just curious what kind of stuff would show up. And sure as poo poo I find that loving shirt! Money was tight but I had to buy it. How could I not? So it's my lucky shirt. Let's see your favorite shirt! Even if it doesn't have a story just share why you like it.

 Intercourse is my favorite band, this shirt is from when their album Everything Is Pornography When You've Got An Imagination came out. An album of nothing but bangers and I love a four sided print longsleeve. (The back has Constant Disappointment Records logo on it)

 e: Actually I also have a shirt I got in Vietnam that has some North Vietnamese soldiers on it and the words "Communism: Freedom is Worth Fighting For" and I like that an awful lot too because there is a certain subset of Aussie men that get real riled up about it and it's always funny when they do. The shirt's long gone, but way back in the middle of LOST mania, I had a t-shirt with the weird countdown timer glyphs from the show on it. I always thought the symbols were cryptic enough to be neat on their own, but it was also a good shirt because it was the only one I've worn where a lot of random people said something about it to me. It was kinda interesting because it was pretty much an even split between fans of the show and confused people going "wtf is that?"

 (not my actual shirt) "This T-Shirt was released in North America in 1988 by Nintendo of America. Released as promotional item for The Legend of Zelda on the Nintendo Entertainment System. A limited amount of these shirts were made. It features an image of Link riding a surfboard, and a River Zora that prepares to attack him." It was the late 1980s and I just got this shirt and had worn it a few times to school and everyone loved it and wanted their own. Then one day I went to get it and it was gone. My mom had thrown it out because it was demonic or something. To this day I've never gotten so much positive feedback from a shirt.  Around the same time I also had this Altered Beast poster hanging on my door  This was also thrown in the trash one day.

Probably one of the various goon-designed Enclothe shirts I bought years back when they were still a thing. If I had to pick one it would be the Daphne and Apollo design: More positive comments on this shirt than any other I own. In fact for a long time I had two of them to try to minimise wear. Both getting a bit holey now, though. I miss Enclothe, they did great shirts.

 This shirt specifically. I found it at a thrift store in very good condition. The one I have is a proper ink on shirt affair, so it'll just gradually fade with wear instead of cracking and being annoying/weird like most of my fun shirts. I also have a vast amount of cat shirts. I didn't feel like finding images for them though.

I saw it and I knew I had to get it, that image just makes me smile every time I see it. It was a daily sale when I got it so it was only like 12 bucks, but it's regular price now.

My 30 year old Akira shirt. I bought this in '93. When the armpits tore, I cut the sleeves off, when the collar wore through, I cut that off too so now it's a summer shirt. Whenever it tears, I sew it up and now it has more of my stitching than the manufacturer's.

 Not the most flattering picture, I fished it out of the dirty laundry and has to go separately from everything else so  Recently inherited this silk shirt from my dad, would absolutely recommend getting one if you can possibly afford it. Incredibly soft and comfy and it is cooler in the summer heat than a T-shirt. Only downside is I dread something ruining it because I'm too poor to replace it.
