I should probably give this another chance! I remember seeing it in the 90s as a teen, and the cultural criticisms were bland and boring compared to RHPS. And so were the songs. It's interesting that it largely predates its messaging having been run into the ground. I'd just assumed they were bandwagoning "safe" targets of criticism to hit a wider audience.
