 So the government opened a website for people to look at Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) called the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office: https://www.aaro.mil/ The Reporting Trends info is kinda cool. A lot of Alien balls. If you go down to Cases there are videos of UAPs in action. All that's missing is the X-files theme as a MIDI embedded in the page that you can't control the volume of. I want to believe.

Both the ECMWF and GFS have it as a weaker hurricane by the time it gets close to the East Coast. Those are calling a landfall or raking up the coast from DC or RI depending on the model. That’s 10 days out though so that’s far enough out that it could wind up hitting Florida or going into the gulf or curving out East even more. The big risk at this point is to somewhere like Barbuda in that upper corner of the Antilles while it is still a major. Any track shift West and it could mess those places up. Once they start flying on and around them then the track usually shifts a good bit. NOAA is going to start flights on Friday out of St Croix probably. They tried to call me up for it but I’m too busy up here with non-flying stuff.
