here's my burrito / taco hot take: Cabbage is better than lettuce. it can handle a little heat from warm fillings without wilting, so it has so much better of a crunch

As a vegetarian I am truly torn by this thread. On the one hand, I realize rice is just a cheap filler that saves the burrito guys from using more substantive ingredients. On the other hand as a vegetarian, is that beans? Tofu? Might as well be rice I figure.

Rice isn’t common in burros, nor are black beans in stuff like tacos in Mexican food. But for what it’s worth, I’m in southern Arizona and we share our food roots with Sonora, Mexico.
