Yknow, the thought had not occured to me. I've always wondered what it would be like to have a 3lb slab of potato between my legs.

I looked up record for longest potato and apparently there was someone who thought they had it but really testing showed it was a tuber of some other plant. This is all that comes up so maybe you can win the record op! Rooting for you. Heh

Potato looks cooked now. You should go to your driveway and hurl it as hard as you can on the pavement and watch it explode.

Eat the quarter after.

It does sound like you don't even know the average size of a potato.
If you don't know that, what else don't you know Mr Premier?!!

Still contemplating why I didn't register here under a clever pseudonym

When I worked at In-n-Out, there would usually be a few big ones like that in every bag. They'd often be hollow with black scuzz on the inside; if you ever get fries with hard black spots on one end, those were cut from the center of the potato.

National Geographic had a handy guide to rare Andean potato varieties a few years back, thankfully Google was able to turn it up. Maybe it'll be handy here

All I'm seeing is that I can have a 100% potato based diet and I'm ready for it.
I need to figure out how to procure all these varieties to try them.
