June 4, 2004. Just another Friday, right? Well, not exactly. That day, at 5 eastern in the afternoon on regional Fox Sports Networks, an hour-long wrestling program from a fledgling promotion aired. Over the years, so much has changed, but one thing has remained constant: the name "Impact". Today, we celebrate the milestone 1000th episode with a Game Day Thread for Impact on AXS that I don't often make (I usually am at work when the show starts). ANNOUNCED CARD Impact X Division Championship: Lio Rush (c) vs. Chris Sabin Frankie Kazarian & Traci Brooks vs. Eddie Edwards & Alisha Edwards Team 3-D in action FEAST OR FIRED plus, WE WILL HEAR FROM Josh Alexander, and KiLynn King wrestles Jody Threat on the pre-show.

Happy 1000 to Impact! A lot of it was good and often times the bad wasn't as bad as people said. Played an imperfect but indispensable wrestling outlet in north america during the dark days between WCW and AEW.
