There is one thing that annoys me: in GP, if you crash or rank out at the end of the race, you are locked into spectator mode until the next race starts, which I feel is irritating.

I am hoping this has legs.

Also, I heard that up until now with F-Zero 99 and the upcoming Donkey Kong vs Mario remake, the developers of this, Nintendo Software Technology, was basically in developer purgatory because they hosed up Project HAMMER extremely hard.
