They go into a dark room, and then all of a sudden a car engine will roar, headlights blast on, and a trucks horn blasts, like a car is coming right for you. I've heard of more elaborate setups before in other attractions, where they'll play sounds of a car speeding around during the buildup, and sounds of a horrible card accident in the distance, to foreshadow that there seams to be a car racing around messing people out somewhere out in the night. I believe one even had the front of a car on a track, so that during the final scar it lurches toward you to build on the impression of an out of control car barreling at you.
