In terms of Stand Up, I'm going to have to be "that guy" and say Stewart Lee. I think Fern Brady is really good too, just full on leaning into the mentally ill, working class, former stripper autist thing and being great with it. Reeves and Mortimer cracked me up as a kid and Bob Mortimer still has it, especially on Athletico Mince that leans into a kind of mundane surrealism so hard I have cried from laughing at it. Viz has that too, and it often gets overlooked by moral guardian types of all political persuasions, but its loving hilarious when it leans into humdrum surrealism.
