It looks to me like she tried to unlatch the door but it broke and stayed latched. She was already moving forward so she essentially walks into the screen door and her weight puts enough pressure on the latch that it now unlatches and swings her around.

Also, I assume alcohol was involved.

when i installed my screen door there was a section in the installation guide "someone walked through my screen while it was closed" which took me back to some childhood memories of the adults doing exactly what this lady did, or not even attempting to open the screen because they didn't see it

ruined 2 screen doors just like that one. One was a friend's dog that just plowed right through it trying to run outside and one was me just casually walking out.

Alcohol was not a factor in either case. And I no longer have that type of screen door
