It has long been speculated by arcane scholars that the shifting, eldritch nature of Dracula's Castle draws all sorts of entities from across the vast reaches of time and space (and other places less well known) like the warmth of a porch light calls out to weary and hungering travelers on a cold winters eve.

As such it should perhaps be no surprise that some bizarre thing has been observing from alien dimensions that occasionally run adjacent to our own. The ancient being is not something comprehensible or compatible in its native form with our realms of existence - spreading out across many alien realities like a vast network of fungal hyphae on a sodden carpet - but it is able to produce a form that it can observe and effect events and, more relevantly, that it can use to feed...

And so, thirteen minutes and thirteen seconds after midnight on the thirteenth day, in a nearby barn there comes a curious sound not entirely dissimilar to a choir of cattle sized gerbils or perhaps gerbil sized cattle (as run through autotune and played backwards to reveal hidden messages) combined with the smell of burning shoe leather and ambergris. Simultaneously substance flows into the thin air of the night from... Elsewhere... forming a shape as pouring if into a pre-existing mold.

Filling in from the ground up it takes form within a fraction of a moment, grotesque flesh bubbling up and firming into the gnarled and wrinkled apparition of an almost impossibly ancient man or perhaps a tall and wizened gnome. Stumbling wildly in its first moments of existence in this plane it bumps into, and startles, a slumbering hen causing it to flap and squawk in surprise. "Pardon me, madam." the being comments, doffing its hat formally. As the surprised bird flutters overhead it drops an egg in shock which smashes on the head of a tired cow, blinding it momentarily and causing it to kick out in shock. This in turn dislodges a lit lantern that spills burning oil into the dry and inflammable hay...

The entity has been given many names, though only a scant few capable of utterance by mortal tongues, Devourer of Fates, The Terrible Old Man, Ruin of Empires, Destroyer of Worlds, The Sightless Beast of a Thousand Misfortunes, and The Bane of Optometrists to name but a few. But it chuckles to itself, seemingly oblivious the to escalating chaos left in its wake as it wanders from the growing inferno, and uses its preferred moniker as it mutters "Oh Mi-Go, you've done it again."

Mr Mi-Go

Skills
-Blind Luck
-Walking Disaster Area
-Narrow Escape
-Harbinger of Chaos

Weaknesses
-Either oblivious or entirely committed to the bit (acts as a confused, elderly gentleman at all times)
-Powers negated by spectacles (cannot remove them willingly but will unfailingly lose or break them in short order)
-Abilities effect the surrounding area indiscriminately, causing chaos and misfortune to allies, bystanders, and enemies alike
-Automatically critically fails visual perception rolls (negated temporarily by spectacles)

Van and Dan

"Baby, no!" Van screams out, and gingerly caresses the flattened tire made out of the lamentations of the Hell-roasting souls of child murderers or something. "You're gonna be okay, we'll get you fixed up in no time.."

Little did they realize every attempt to get the tire fixed would go improbably wrong for a comical amount of time, driving them to the brink of madness, thanks to that old bastard who is somehow disarming and enraging at the same time.

They note the bubbling water, and intend to let their resident diver know for later investigation.. at least until they come upon the mangled piles of meat. Fitting that Dragula's trunk is a coffin. They hopefully get the remains of their two compatriots in there without their tag-along defiling them further.

And then there's the house. They cruise slowly up to it, and poke inside, weapons at the ready. Expecting to, but somewhat pleased not to, find a charnel house of humanity's front line troops.

"Looks like you had a fuckin' time of it." Dan comments, looking weary and strained to the breaking point, but that's mostly from their passenger who is somehow more eerie and unsettling than Dracula's loving Castle. But damned if the brothers don't kinda like him anyways. It's maddening.

They detach the coffin-trunk from Dragula after getting it back into the garage, and bring it inside.

"Bad news, guys. Anyone know Doctor F's number?"

Day 14

Van spends his time tending to Dragula like it's his dying wife, yelling at the helpful engineering and trade school students as they aid in repairs to 'be gentle' and the like. Thankfully, it's raining. Bignatz is exhausted and heart-sick at the loss of Treena and Bob. Things had been looking up after forging an alliance with Visconti but now the manse is in shambles and the team has lost their financier and best fighter in one short night. It's too much at once and there are so few hours to prepare for another nightfall.

Bignatz says his hellos to the strange little man that arrived with the Wildsing Bros but instinctively plans to give him a wide berth. Then, it's time to attempt to put the grim state of things in order.

Day 14: Bignatz gets in contact with Treena's softball team and delivers the bad news. He then tries to make sense of Bob's paper work and files to see if there is anyone to contact for him. Attempt to tally up what supplies we have remaining in the house while also helping with repairs.

Night 14: Bignatz rides out with Van and Dan to settle the score with the Bone Gang. He's wary of whatever monstrosity was able to take out their compatriots violently, but the Bone Gang seriously needs to be put down for good. Clutching the magic stick Bignatz sets the enchanted boombox to Treena's theme. She'll be with them in spirit, at least, while they settle the score.

Mr Mi-Go

The strange little "man" is quietly respectful of the team's loss and offers polite condolences. It introduces itself to the team members, although for many of these conversations it is talking to random objects within the house that it seems to have mistaken for the other party members. Apart from a slight scare when it nearly burns the house down attempting to help with cooking it causes no further disturbance for the rest of the evening... I'm sure it's probably okay, right?

Day 14

Upon learning that its current residence is in a state of disrepair, the entity perhaps fortunately decides that instead of sticking around the house during the day it will enlist help and supplies from a local hardware store. In practice this amounts to it accidentally stumbling into a construction site and causing a series of bizarre accidents and narrowly avoiding being killed by the ensuing falling construction materials.

This apparently purposeless act should hopefully convince the workers to help with repairs of the house gratis if Mr Mi-Go leaves their construction site simply to avoid the growing toll of death and devastation its presence in such a high risk environment pretty much guarantees. From one point of view this might be seen as extortion but the old "man" seems entirely oblivious to this and to the devastation that follows in its wake.

Night 14

It seems excited to join in on a nice drive and will tag along with the rest of the team in the Dragula. While this is perhaps better than leaving it to its own devices in the house, thereby at least temporarily saving it, it also pretty much insures that through blind luck Mi-Go will end up behind the steering wheel at some point in the conflict.

This terrifying scenario is likely to cause untold calamity to others accompanied by Mr Mi-Go complaining about the driving of everything in the nearby surrounds, calling out "Road Hogs!" and "Sunday drivers!" and frantically honking at stationary objects while tearing along at top speed blindly in (hopefully) the direction of their enemies.

On the other hand it's probably a best case scenario both in terms of causing maximum damage to things not inside the vehicle and the group escaping death through a series of wacky and wild coincidences as if they were somehow within the eye of a whirling maelstrom of chaos around them.

(tl;dr coerce local construction crew into fixing house, assist with the fight in their own strange way)

The rain poured over the darkened day in sheets. There had been a murdered soul with unholy connections to gaia who had come calling to Carmallia from the spirit realms, overnight...

This was the spot. The blood was mostly washed away but the psychic imprint of a recent murder was palpable here, to those with the Sight.

Katrina Hendricks, known as 'Treena' to her friends and family. Bitten by a weredeer, she was. A single black tear was drawn from the hedge witch's right eye as the realization struck Carmallia that she and Treena had been lovers in another lifetime, and that now she'll never get a chance to dance with that passionate soul again.

The black-staining streak of ink rolled down Carmallia's pallid tattooed cheek, and despite the rains it remained there even as Carmallia approached the front entrance of the Old hosed Up House.

"Don't mind me," she'd say, to anyone inquiring about her business there, and not making eye contact. "Your hedgerows are all hosed up. I gotta realign the roots in the firmament to shore up a better buffer zone for repelling undead."

If pressed further by the Vampire Hunters for doing magic poo poo to their lawn (and later backyard), Carmallia would challenge anyone with a deep eye-locking soul stare and simply say, "I'm not here because I want to be: Treena sent me to repay her debts to the mother moon."

Lester trudged through the rain towards the Old House. He had been reading Bob From Accounting's reports on the flight in. What an annoyance this all was. Lester rests at the Old House to heal.

------

"You hear that Hawk? Music. Beautiful music!" Lester can't help but to do a little dance as he works in the lab. Even Hawk is nodding his beak along in time with the music. Lester beings to laugh maniacally, though he couldn't say why.

Day 17
Lester retrieves a crossbow from the vault of the Old House and attempts to fashion Bob's old silver bullets into silver tipped crossbow bolts. He also begins to make various potions and bombs. Explosives, holy water bombs, healing potions, sleep potions, you name it.

Night 17
Lester from R&D and Hawk the Eagle, will follow the music, inviting others in the Old House to join them. Lester equips himself with his crossbow and any potions he has made. Just in case it turns out to be a monster bashing party.

Other than wandering around the local area and hoping to stumble across something useful they do nothing of note for this day and night.

Day 17/Night 17 The entity spends the day basking in some of the chaos that Dracula's castle is bringing to the area, trying to increase its strength for the night ahead. The rains kept falling as Carmallia worked her magics in the Dark Dark Woods during the dismally-gray daylight hours - it didn't matter to her what her physical eyes could see: she knew the stars were always out there. Her soul thrummed with a sondering wistfulness:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaeRXppkzdA

To the fae and their offer, Carmallia considered their words before scolding herself for being too trusting:
"Fie on thee, tricksters of the dark forest. You care not for purification, only defilement. You would just as soon tele-warp myself or my allies into cages in Dracula's basement! No Deal, not unless I get to bring my own set of cards..."

With a stiff branch Carmallia churned the runny mud of the Woods into a small hole that she could bury the Jar with the Failed Experiment[/b] inside. She also wrapped it in a set of prayer beads, to act as a seal, a protective ward, and as a triangulation point for her own personal sigil-work.

It was messy work in the pounding rain, but the only thing that mattered was making it out of the Woods before nightfall. The sooner she could get out of werewolf territory, the better...

It is happening overnight, right? What day of the week even is it? Not that you cared before, but it means even less to you since you haven't been showing up to work in some time. Bignatz

is conflicted. The raid against the Bone Boys was exhilarating, it really brought the ~animal~ out in him! So much so, it was a simple decision to don their discarded leathers in a flamboyant show of dominance. Yet, maybe deservedly so, he had never felt more like a beast after being rejected, ignored and feared during his recent quest into town.

All the same, the leathers are enthralling, surpassing even the allure of the magic stick. And combined? It's far too much for this recent sideshow to resist. For Bignatz, it's back to embracing his monstrous nature; but only as much as it will aid his fellow hunters.

Day 17: Take the woodcraft tools and head to the Dark Woods with the intent to harvest as much hardwood as (in)humanly possible. Set practically all of the harvested wood aside for stakes, but fashion the best piece collected into a cudgel.
Keep alert for danger, for himself and other hunters in the Woods.

Night 17: The absolute ~last~ thing Bignatz is going to do is follow the alluring sound of music into the twilight. Bignatz wishes all of the hunters well as he settles in for another night, keeping watch on the back porch.

Van and Dan

That was.. a night. Images they will never forget crashing through their grey matter, frothily eroding the sandy shores of sanity. The carnage.

The way he just.. destroyed them. Without seemingly like he was trying. The brothers only had to pick off the stragglers, after Mi-Go ducking at the right moment caused them to get knocked off by a log suspended on a crane, swinging over the street to get in position for a log-wall a rich resident is erecting. At night.

Haunted.

They spend Day and Night 16 trying to process what they've just experienced. Recovering. Trying to keep it together. Van throws himself into Dragula, spending the whole time upgrading it, and trying to add the Ghost Parts to it in an unholy fusion of spectral energy and nec.. oh, right, they're both unholy.

At least Dragula has rainbow power! Is it now a ghost-rainbow dragster? :gaysper:

Dan drowns himself in booze and some drugs. And tries to create a one-man stage play about the destruction of the Bonies.

Day and Night 17
Dan uses his chemistry and engineering knowledge to assist Lester from R&D in his totally sane and reasonable, measured attempts to use science to end the evil plague.
Van scrounges whatever stereo and speaker equipment in the house to put the finishing touches on Dragula. He thinks he understands, now. The -music- is what completes the Dragula. He attaches his Zune to play Robert Zombie's Dragulahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqQuihD0hoI on repeat whenever the vehicle is active.

You fight fire with fire, you take an eye for an eye.. and you fight back against an auditory threat with an even more brutal and bone-rattling baled. They ride out to find the music's source with their unlikely comrades.

These go thru fine. Huge eagle is pretty tame, all things considered. Using some grabbers prevents you from losing some fingers. The only odd thing you notice is the odd looks from the HOA members who don't seem particularly enthusiastic about what's been going on lately.

Mr go discovers a manhole which appears to connect to the sewage treatment plant by accidentally falling in and breaking critical municipal infrastructure. Easily escaped, probably won't be a problem.

You upgrade the dragula with the ghostly parts and can use it to run over ghosts and specters probably

The hedge witch Carmallia hummed to herself in the Old House's back patio as she crushed up seeds from poppy flowers she'd gathered in the fields nearby the wetlands, all while champing on a stalk of licorice root.

She was feeling a little loopy, but that's only because opiate potency is so hard to measure in the wild without a trusted test subject who has experience being under various influences...

The tattooed woman in leathers had pilfered a couple spices from the Old House's kitchen to make this 'herbal blend' of hers, too, if only to make the medicine smell more palatable once she'd started cooking it. This was not the first time she'd had to improvise with either local flora or else a bit of petty theft from civilization to get a tincture tasting just right.

Carmillia had no idea what an HOA was or what it could be capable of, but she understood that snooping strangers in general wouldn't tolerate her manufacturing shamanism drugs in the backyard. That's why she wanted it to smell a little more like cinnamon and clove.

is very content as he reviews the hardwood harvest. The diabolic leathers have proven their worth, it truly is a wonderful harvest. Now, it's on to sorting.

With efficiency in mind, Bignatz separates the stake sized logs out from the chunkier, drier pieces that, hopefully, Hardefeest can use for a good barbeque. He marvels at the amount of good stake wood when, at last, he finds what he set out for. A gnarled, knotted old base of ash. He sets it aside and dutifully sorts out the stake wood from the smoke wood.

Despite the morning chill, this is hard work! Bignatz clears the sweat from his eyes but is surprised by how thick his coat is growing in.

Day 18: Bignatz uses the magic stick to, slowly ~painstakingly~ etch silver tracing throughout the perfect piece of ashwood. He concentrates on his resolve to help the hunters, but also his fury while wrecking the Bone Boys. He prays for a weapon to destroy evil.

Mr Mi-Go

The old 'man' seems to have taken a shine to Van and Dan after their pleasant drive through town, seeing them as a benevolent uncle might regard nephews to be taken under its wings. At least to all appearances, after all the mind of such an alien being is incomprehensible by nature. Hearing all this talk of visiting a Castle, the entity seems to decide that the three of them should be dressed in true gentlemanly fashion befitting an audience with nobility.

As such Mr Mi-Go visits a store to obtain some fancier attire and the tools to tailor the clothes to better fit the three. How they manage to pay for it is a matter of debate, whether no one pays attention as it walks out with the items after someone accidentally cuts their own head off while using scissors, or whether the chaotic entity simply finds or even creates the funds befitting a wealthy old man of leisure it appears to be is left as an exercise for the reader.

In any case they spend the day tailoring the clothing with perhaps surprisingly ability and unnatural speed give their seemingly nearly complete lack of visual acuity - turns out that mere thread is a doddle for something used to weaving chaos from the intricate tapestry of fate - and will even weave the Boner Patch onto their waist coat for the look of the thing.

Day 18 - Tailor the clothing for Van and Dan using Woven Chaos to create outfits that should protect them at least partially from the inadvertent effects of its own powers. They will also tailor their own clothes, adding the patch. Having heard the minotaur in the maze last night, and mistaking it for hungry lost cattle, the 'kindly old gentleman' will also procure some hay and vegetables to feed the creature. Perhaps inadvertently, and with their usual approach, they actually gather stalks of lupine and waterhemlock tubers - both attractive to bovine creatures but highly poisonous to them.

Night 18 - time to go see this castle, and through a labyrinth no less! Mr Mi-Go seems quite taken with the idea and will briskly lead the way through the darkness, relying on Blind Luck to find their way to the 'poor lost cow' on their way to the castle. Perhaps unbeknownst to them their earlier tailoring job has left a loose loop of thread on their jacket which snags on some of the rubble as they make their way in, leading to it slowly unwinding as it leaves a trail through the twisting tunnels beneath the castle.

Van and Dan

Pulled into a web that they don't understand but somehow feel right at home with, the pair think they've regained some of their sanity. Little do they know that is the true creeping madness that is crawling through the ridges and canyons of their brains, microscopic Mi-Gos bumbling around, rearranging things, 'fixing' synapses.

As such, they are more than pleased to get those suits - best fit of any clothing they've ever had. Like they... never want to take them off. Ever.

Day 18
Entranced, they assist Mi-Go in collecting the necessary food materials without comment on whatever he -actually- gathers. There are several mishaps, including a long, one-footed slide along a suspicious trail of slime, Dan skidding to a stop right in front of a precarious precipice. He doesn't seem to notice, striding along the edge before lucking out and finding a piece of intergalactic meteoroid. He rubs it, and sticks it in his pocket for good luck.

Van's heart already given over to Dragula creates some dissonance, but he finds if he plays chauffer he can attend to both masters at once.. for now.

Night 18
They go along with Mi-Go into the tunnels.. following behind in the Dragula. Surely the blaring, pounding music and semi-ghost necro-racer can navigate even tight passages, what with the car's body existing in more than one dimensional plane at a time.

You five descend into the nightmarish tunnels, while the Chef & Bignatz watch the house, make stakes, & support.

:rolldice: Well it ain't a crit. But this amount of prep is enough to get you thru
You travel deeper into the curving maze and it immediately becomes a clusterfuck. But finally you arrive at the central chamber, which is full of hideous monsters and ofc,

You're able to kill all these fiends without falling into the abyssal depths below, but in the process use up all of the sleep drugs & poison, and about half the remaining holy water. You're also real low on silver, with barely any left. Everyone who went down is injured.

Good thing the dragula can spookily glide over these irregular holes in the ground, because beneath the labyrinth is a dark abyss. Above, you can see moonlight, and the fronds of plants -- if you could climb up there you could get into the conservatory. You also get the powerful devil pike, which is p big and evil, so there's at least that. Got plenty of stakes ready for spikin vamps, too.

With the boss of this region destroyed probably it won't get bigger or more dangerous even if the curse becomes stronger. Eh you can hope.

Carmallia hadn't seen a fight like that in her life, but somehow she and her allies had prevailed against the demonic fiends at the heart of the underground labyrinth. Access to Dracula's Conservatory could be found here, if only they had a reliable way to climb up.

Thankfully, Carmallia knew just the right ingredients needed to weave up a resilient 'living rope' that she could animate and send skyward with nature magicks.

While braiding her freshly-collected grasses, reeds, and thin vines among cords, strings, and yarns, Carmallia could occasionally be seen plucking long hairs from her head and adding the strands to the magic rope, too.

"I haven't braided this much in one sitting since girl scout camp..." she muttered absentmindedly at once point, when someone stepped out onto the porch for a smoke break.

This human urge to interact in pattering conversation was bizarre to Carmallia to feel reappearing in herself, to say the least.

You also kiss each of the fish you caught for good measure. If it works to bring back a frog prince, maybe the magic works both ways.

Day 19: Have your fish pals explore the moat on kitchen twine leashes and report back to you. If this doesn't work, but they're fine, explore the moat yourself.

Night 19: Join the party in the conservatory. Bring your survivalist's cookbook to reference any interesting plants that may be growing in there.

Day 19

Using the grapnel guns, they get some nice rope ladders going up to the conservatory. They look around for materials to throw down to help bridge the abyssal gaps to make traversal easier for anyone who doesn't come in on Dragula's spooky tire plumes.

Works fine. You could go down if you wanted and probably not instantly die, is how well this works. Get magic rope

Day 19: Gather up a bandolier of stakes and make sure they're extra sharp. Casually wonder what Visconti is up to and how far along his garlic experiment is?

His lackeys let you in, according to the agreement, but he's too focused on his work to accept visitors at this time. They eye the stakes but don't mention them.

Lester from R&D will take the Devil Pike back to the lab in the Old House for analysis. "Not really my kind of thing, but maybe we could fashion it into a weapon for someone else? Surely this will come in useful."

The occultometer pegs to max value as soon as you drag the thing close. Yes you could make it into one or several weapons relatively normal sized people could use, but over time they will surely be corrupted by the sheer quantity of malevolons (everyone knows the malevolon is the force carrier for malevolent impulses). Not a great idea to leave this thing laying around.

They easily swim thru the moat without getting eaten or anything. Seems like a completely normal evil moat surrounding your usual evil castle in the middle of an ominously rainy day.

:rolldice: you crit, easily

There was a chick in there hanging out mysteriously, but as soon as she entered the moonlight she was revealed to be a hideous evil monster. Obviously all the plants are evil, etc etc.

"Hey boys ~~ oh poo poo there's like seven of em"

It's relatively trivial to both beat her past undeath into regular death, and then smash up and loot the joint. You get:
Enchanted flowerpot
3 mystery roots
4 probably not cursed apples of knowledge of good and evil
4 alchemical ashes

teleport sigil to the conservatory

--

returning back :rolldice: oh man that's a severe crit fail

"Hey what's up guys i heard you're vampire hunters, uh, lemme join up i'm cool"

Because you teleported back in instead of casually strolling, you're p much in the old house and can basically ignore the guy. Seems mildly suspicious that he continually knocks on the doors and various windows literally until before dawn, when he leaves.

However the rains come with the dawn and it's staying pretty spooky for pretty long for some reason. In fact it stays weirdly crepuscular all day. With the weird weather and odd cloud situation it's hard to keep track of time. Some monsters begin walking around even now when it's supposed to be day... the curse is getting stronger...

"Heyyyy. So," lead Carmallia flirtatiously, while tossing her shoulders to one side and tilting her head the other way. "Are you, like, a VAMPIRE..? -Or a vampire HUNTER???"

She giggled and had to hide a sneering smirk from the pallid hipster she was chatting up. With a side-eye. the hegdewitch watched the false vampire-hunter to see how his demeanor reacted to her exposed, prey-like neck.

Obviously, this overly chummy vampire continuously knocking on the Old House's door to 'Team Up' was in need of a very explicit message of rejection from the truthful Vampire Hunters for being such a soulless blood-sucker.

Carmallia was not opposed to leading this guy on for a bit into the night, at least until the undead annoyance could be 'dealt with' somewhere a little more discreet.

Mr Mi-Go

After the fight Mi-Go took the time to bandage the rather nasty bump they took to the head when the minotaur tripped on the loose thread from the entity's jacket. While this sent the old "man" tumbling it also caused the beast to stumble and trip before awkwardly landing neck first on the blade of their unholy weapon, neatly decapitating the monster.

Since then Mr Mi-Go has worked on cleaning up the skull of the best, figuring it would make an excellent hood ornament for the Dragula. Hopefully the day of rest should allow its physical form to recover fully and for them to digest the large meal of chaotic energies the various stumbles and accidents it caused in the fight, as well as the general background energies from Dracula's growing power, allowed it to gather.

On the following day, the entity will attempt enter the castle via the portal - deciding that it needs a good book to read and thus will head for the library to see what it can find - using the powers of Blind Luck to guide it to something of interest and a large magnifying glass to read from whatever tome it manages to acquire.

Day/Night 19 Clean and prepare the Minotaur Skull to make it into a hood ornament/battering ram for the Dragula.

Day 21 Attempt to gain entrance to the Library to read from a random eldritch tome - likely drawn to whatever book might unleash most chaos upon the castle.

Night 21 Accompany the rest of the group on whatever nightly raid/activity they have planned. If the group splits up they'll most likely go with Van & Dan.

Wait, what did that lovable little old coot say? He was heading to the library for a spot of reading? Good luck or not, you worry what may happen if he runs into The Librarian's Pet. Better tag along for good measure. Make a pitstop at The Dragula's Minibar before going for a quck nip and maybe take a flask. Being around Mr. Mi-Go makes your thoughts tingly.

Day 21: Hartefeest, accompany Mr. Mi-Go to the library. Launch some fruits to distract The Librarian's Pet. If this works, feed it one of the Apples of Knowledge.

Night 21: Carmallia mentioned a plan to take out the worst type of customer, That Annoying Hipster, outside The Tavern tonight. Help facilitate things, and when she gives the cue, spill some of your countable chick peas from Day 2 as a distraction before helping perform the hit.

Van and Dan Wildsing

Appreciative of the addition to their supernatural hodgepodge of a dragster, along with their warped brains, are inclined to follow along into the Library.

Day 21

Follow Mi-Go into the Library and assist.

Night 21
With their superior knowledge of social situations, especially when alcohol is involved, they go to The Tavern to blast that hipster with worldly truth delivered in an acerbic, but amusing tone. Plus, they introduce the chaos being of wrinkled old flesh to the situation. Why not! He's gotta be a fun drunk.

Bignatz

is on the prowl. Every time that dweeb lurking about the place last night tapped on a window or knocked on a door he felt the urge to kill.
At first light, Bignatz bolted out of the back door and immediately began to track the fiend's scent in an attempt to determine exactly where and how a night creature could have wandered into such a well defended property.

Day 21: Track the visitor's scent all around the old house. Evaluate the team's defenses in an attempt to determine any flaws.

Night 21: Follow along as muscle in Carmallia's plot. Be wary though, since the visitor was able to get so close to the old house, he may be more than he seems.

Lester from R&D

"A gangly kid lurking about the house? Pale skin? Only comes out at night? Won't leave us alone? Sounds like one of my lab RAs!" Lester laughs, mostly to himself. "Wait, what if it really is one of my RAs?" Lester muses. "I suppose if he comes back, I could offer him a job in the Old House lab. Who else is going to type up all these research notes?".

Day 21
Lester will take the alchemical ashes and attempt to make ethereal potions for all the hunters. These potions will allow the users to take on a ghostly form for a short amount of time, rendering them almost invisible and able to sneak about the castle or make hasty escapes.

Night 21
Hawk the Eagle has been pecking at the Devil Pike ever since it was brought into the Lab. Lester will use a small part of the pike to make Devil Pike claws to fit on Hawk's already terrifying claws.
