I love all these good little black kitties. I'd love to show everyone a picture of the friendly little black cat that hangs around my friend's place but we've only ever seen her at night and black cat + night is an adorable surprise but also really difficult to photograph. I don't know her name so I just call her princess.

Here's Sheba, I cat I fostered a few years ago. She's adopted to a friend of mine and very happy, although I haven't seen her because she hides when guests are around (and I don't think really remembers me). She was originally called Bathsheba, but we figured Sheba was a more auspicious name if we were going to stick with something biblical "I am black, and I am beautiful".

 This is Balki Bartokomous, he just showed up on the couch snuggled up to his new life partner Jake. He probably snuck in while we were bringing in groceries. No chip or collar so we kept him. Sadly he was just as good at sneaking out as sneaking in, and was run over after about 7 years with us. He just would not stay inside.
