I've heard good things about this game. I gather from the description that the audience won't really be able to manipulate your loadout (since you'll need to be able to change it to deal with fights?), but that's OK. Looking forward to seeing where it goes!

I appreciate that Meteor has a completely out-of-place 3D-rendered meteor sprite as part of its casting animation

I know that in FF6, you can mimic mimicked actions. I've seen people playing FF6 randomizers, and beating bosses by mimicking breaking a rod over and over again, for example. It does seem like Mimic's utility will hinge on how exactly it works.
