I don't know any cool British spooky Halloween things cuz I didn't grow up here. All I can say is I feel very embarrassed for the kids that try and go trick or treating around here when maybe only a handful of houses are participating and everyone else is like turn all the lights off make it look like we're not home

First generation to be traumatized by Ghostwatch, represent! I was watching it in the attic on a proper old CRT - absolutely shat myself and ran out the house up to my auntie at the top of the road. Can't get much UK spookier than Parky and Pipes You want access? You have five minutes to get this string into your SA profile

What is the best time of year to experience the aforementioned foggy spooky bogs and other eerie scenic views? Is it different in the north vs the south vs the etc etc? Where would you recommend, and when, for the best "I am finally here in England (e2: see previous)! It is creepy and awesome and everything I hoped it would be not to mention my Instagram is going to look awesome for weeks!" experience? If you want ~spooky~ go to s somewhere like York which has a million ghost tours. Creepiest though was part of a regular tour of Nottingham and there was since weird shrine in some underground medieval buildings under a pub. If I recall there's supposedly the ghost of a child there so people bring it stuffed toys. In London there's the Mithraeum, a Roman temple for a cult that happens to be under the Bloomberg HQ. Nothing suspicious there

America has got some really good haunted places, but come on, all those people living and dying for thousands of years on those little islands? The ghosts have got to be tripping over each other. When I woke up most of the lights were off and the only other person I could see was sitting in a side room wearing a hooded cloak (not that unusual for the pub). If anybody likes spooky movies with limited gore and nudity (i.e not slasher ones) I watched an Italian film called the sound of silence. It's 95pc in English and a solid old fashioned ghosty movie.
