Apple Pay is the best, you should do this immediately

it is a genuinely interesting phenomena how beloved apple pay is in the places where the cards didn't already do the same thing

obviously it is better, as there's an extra level of auth to it, but that extra level of auth makes it obviously less convenient than the card here

Great news everyone, if I set macOS to "do not disturb" that blocks the finder notifications. So now I just need to make a custom focus profile, add the apps I want notifications from, and then smooth sailing.

IT JUST WORKS

i'm far more likely to leave home without my wallet than my phone, and it's faster to get my phone out than a card as well

apple pay owns, i love not having to even grab my wallet to pop in to the corner store for something

we have tap to pay cards now too, but i honestly never even consider using them

getting my phone out possibly, but there's button presses and faceid on top.

like, even here there's probably 20% who do it still, but i do think card processing mostly got out in front of it by making the card the out-of-pocket-tap-done before it was a thing.

im not saying it is a horror to do, i am saying people here mostly don't do it as the alternative got out ahead with you not needing to do that. or because of backwards stupidity i guess, whatever you prefer

maybe it’s a bank thing but you can’t label cards in apple pay so you have to remember the card number to know what card you’re using
