The thing that made my landings go from poo poo to repeatable and adequate (assuming your pattern skills are good and you’re flying a stabilized final) was all in having a new instructor say something different to me. My primary instructor was always telling me over and over to “look down the runway”. And I always felt like I was. Then, I had a substitute and they told me to “look at the end of the runway”. For some reason that made all the difference for me. Maybe that’ll work for you!?
