If that was a catch, wasn’t it also then a fumble? He wasn’t touched down

It seemed pretty clear that he was on the ground with the ball in his hand and then the defender ripped it out. He didn't fail to maintain control while going to the ground. He clearly caught and possessed the ball the entire time until an opposing player ripped the ball out after he was down by contact.

He was. He was already down, and if the bill's player didn't rip the ball out after the play it never would have moved.

If the ball carrier is on the ground, but not touched down, and a defender knocks the ball out of their hands. Is it fumble, or are they touched down?

It depends - if he went down in a slide, he's down.

If he's on the ground but not giving himself up, and the defender can touch only the ball, it's a fumble.

In the present case, he was already touched down. That wasn't the first contact.

Overhearing the bartender here and apparently this place does a full English breakfast.

If they include black sausage I may forgive them for the 3rd down train horn.

In this case, guy was contact by defender as he's catching the ball. His knee is already on the ground as he makes the catch, so if he gets possession, it's a catch. He gets clear control of the ball, and it doesn't move as he goes down. He was already on the ground and had been contacted by a defender. Following this, a defender ripped the ball out. That's a complete pass down by contact.

I didn’t see clear contact that touched him down on the replay prior to the fumble.

I thought a defender had their hands on him basically the whole time. I'd have to see another replay. If there was no other contact an the guy ripping the ball didn't touch him in any other way, it should have been a fumble.

My big point is that it was a completed pass.

I took the octopath less travelered,

And it made one-eighth the difference.
Urban Meyer beat the Bills.

There's just weird energy between Jags/Bills games in general. Of course, the Jags having spent the past couple weeks in London definitely helps for this game.

It's bad play calling by Dorsey but the big difference is JA has kept his head so far. The bigger worry is last time the defence kept the game close, but we've lost so many key players on that side.
