realistically an egg sack would be really obvious, glued to the wall with webbing everywhere, lots of visible eggs clustered together.

yellow spiders tend to lay them at ground level

check around the trim of your rooms for a little dusty-looking lump. probably in the bathroom or another dry cool place.

I'm pretty sure that's also a yellow sac spider except yours is more brown.

I'm not a spider expert but you can tell species most easily by the way their legs are pointing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheiracanthium

If it tried to jump on you it means it's guarding an eggsack somewhere nearby.
Also kind of confirms it's a yellow sac spider since they're pretty much the only aggressive house spider.
