Slightly related, for some reason the WFC really started cracking down hard on bag size a couple of years ago. A couple of seasons ago (Alain Vignaeult's final game of all things) my wife got turned away bringing a small purse she had brought to games prior without any issue. We couldn't recall any recent scaremongering event that would've triggered it

I know there were hints along the way (dodging development camp was a bit of a red flag) but it's kinda shocking in this day and age this all stayed quiet for so long. He was being quietly shopped for months. I think the Flyers handled this about as well as they could have. From what I've read the crux of the matter was Cutter wanted to play for the Flyers this year but Briere wanted to let him cook a little longer and it all fell apart to the point where Cutter was leaving the Flyers' messages on read.

Fine he didn't wanna play here, whatever, it's done. But what I fail to understand is why he ghosted the team and refused to meet with Jones and Briere when they traveled to Sweden with that intent. It was handled poorly, and I'm sure the Flyers could've done things differently too.
