Mom died in 2018 of Cancer. In later years she had 3 distinct cancers. Two were dealt with, One dealt with her. Dad died in 2020 of Alzheimer's. His funeral was one week before the COVID lockdown. Both of my parents are buried in the National Cemetery in Phoenix. It was nice of them to die in February, when it's cool enough that you can be outdoors. I really would have hated August funerals. My mother-in-law was 89 when she died in May. My father-in-law died in 2000. I guess Mrs. Genesplicer and I are officially orphans.
