Hey, it's Bookmas again! I'll throw my hat into the ring. I enjoy literary fiction, poetry, horror, and bizarre schlock, and non-fiction about unusual niche topics would also be fun. ADDITIONAL FESTIVE BOOK-GIVING OFFER: I accidentally bought a second copy of Daniel P. Mannix's "Freaks: We Who Are Not As Others at the used bookstore the other day and will gladly send it along as a bonus gift to the first claimer. (This is the paperback, not the $90 autographed hardback on the RE/search site, so don't get your hopes up.)

A package arrived tonight! I'm going to hold off opening it until next week, but will open then before I fly out to visit family. Plane books!

Numbuh 212 posted:Another package arrived today! Truly am embarrassment of riches over here. I'm so excited to read all of these. Thank you so much! Hey, I'm glad these all got there! The 3x Leguin combo was kind of an accident -- I forgot she was the translator on Kalpa Imperial -- but a happy one, hopefully. Enjoy!

I just opened my TBB gift! With festive paper: And a mysterious non-book item, along with a letter: A notebook and a cool woodblock print! I really didn't expect anything like this, and I'm delighted. I'll have to get a nice frame for the print and some interesting thoughts for the notebook. The books inside were individually wrapped and cheerfully unwrapped, and it's a neat assortment: The only one of these I've even heard of is The Castle of Otranto, which I haven't read, so I'm excited to dig in. Thank you so much, Chip! What wonderful surprises!
