I have received a truly amazing haul. This morning the postie buzzed while I was on the toilet. That's 3/3 times the new guy has caught me on the loo or in the shower. Kudos pal, your timing is impeccable. A GIANT BOX APPEARS  A sign of things to come...  First, the kind note and explanation from PainterofCrap   The Dickbutts, courtesy of Babyeatingpsychopath. There are dozens of these all over my apartment now   There is a truly prodigious amount of stuff in here! I struggled to unpack it onto the limited flat surfaces in my tiny apartment!       The Chick Tracts crack me up, I'm not sure I've seen one for years, but they're mentioned in one of my favourite Jack White songs.  I am absolutely blown away! My snack box is now full, and choc covered pretzels are legit one of my favourite things ever. I am very very excited to try the rest of the local delights, and thank you for the backstories on them. Selected stickers and magnets have made their way onto the Fridge of Affirmation™️  The rest will be used to spice up my boring rear end chilly bin (esky/cooler). I am tempted to zip tie the license plates to my storage cage above the car, sadly I don't have a garage or man cave at the moment. I am also immensely excited to read about New Jersey's L O S T Piney Culture. And the Indiana Jones lego is the icing on the proverbial cake. That's gonna be a fun build and the plane can sit under my Concorde, for scale. Thank you SO SO much PainterofCrap! You really made my day today and did a great job distracting me from studying some extremely dry professional development stuff. I got my Santee's stuff out today, and hopefully my sister, who lives a little closer to them, will add a second package.

I am delighted that it arrived safely, intact and unmolested! Did the Big Wett sunnies arrive yet? They were ordered a good week before I sent the box. AUS post isn't that slow...is it? While there is definitely junque, I tried to keep it compact/small. The VIOLATION envelope comes courtesy of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, although not so marked. Prank your friends! The flaming skull came from Oglaf. It's Sithrak, the god that hates you! Also: In case it's not obvious, the Wawa gift cards are also magnets Merry Christmas!

A fantastic bounty arrived yesterday from my santa, nitsuga. Many wonderful things. What's this?  Inside box:  You sly dog. And there can never be enough shop towels. Ever.  I hadn't heard of Analog Cycles before. I see from their site they are the kind of bike perverts I can get behind. My wife is stoked about the Thrasher Magazine sticker, it may find a home on her Element. Much like shop towels, you can NEVER have enough cable straps.  Perfection.  Further planting the seeds that I need to get a dirt bike.  Mmm. snacks. The Sprecher mix is seriously good. I am a sucker for notebooks and yet to have a good field notebook to kick around. It's a package! And it's for me! It contained things! I love things.  Pocket flashlight! I've always needed one and never took the time to look into getting one that doesn't suck. Hmmm…while I’m busy dropping the ball, the rest of the world soldiers on.  It got here and it’s great! Albeit somewhat sideways.  The perfect apartment-sized case for stuff I don’t want exploding in my closet.  It is very important to preserve the remaining rust free areas on the van. This is actually for the glass and I’m very curious to try it out. I’ve heard good things.  I did not know this was a thing but yeah, yeah it would be very nice to not just spray the surrounding 3-5 feet with wd40.  It’s true. Warm socks really are important. I am thankful but less thankful than I will be when I’m working on something in late January.  This is very cool and a good idea. Particularly given the current organizing strategy for my power tools: chuck them in a bag and then root through the bag, spilling it everywhere, whenever I need something.  Ok, just because I’ve already installed two in the van and the second doesn’t want to connect to my phone anymore…  And last, but certainly not least.  Thank you very much! This was wonderful and I really appreciate it.

Well, Santee, you should have received one gift that I had shipped to you locally (though it probably won't have anything identifying it as being from me, so, uh, we'll see how that works out), and there's another on its way to you subject to the tender mercies of UPS. And with that duty done, I feel I'm now allowed to post my own haul! An excellent T-shirt, which frankly is completely accurate:  Hank Marvin intensifies. Been years since I made a model kit, this should be fun to dig into over the holiday:  Remember anime boobage? It's back, now in sticker form! A package arrived at my front door while I was away for work, but a friend took it inside for me. It has a town that I vaguely recognize as being a goon's, but I forget which goon! I'll open it soon.
