you can try to wrap up and not launch yourself at the player so it should have been targeting, but yeah, bang bang play etc. Close enough not to care. e: even if you go shoulder to shoulder at that velocity it goes straight through to helmet to helmet (not crown of the helmet but still a hard helmet)
