Aw, sweet - I'm not buying this one yet, so I'm excited to see it pop up here. I've already seen some discussion mentioning a couple things that got polished a bit from the original, which I liked the sound of, it'll be fun to see what all they do along those lines.

Man, this game looks and sounds great. They did a really good job with the music updates. The low level boss theme is great, the bigger boss theme is one of my favorites and I can't wait to hear its new version.

Why are you not using Specials, the game absolutely throws Flower Tabs and refreshes at you. I think the last time I played the original I would always have Mario Jump for the slow boost. When my FP ran out and there wasn't a refresh immediately on hand, I would use a tab and keep on going. Lasted me the whole game. (Sorry, it's me, the person in the audience complaining that You're Doing It Wrong. Keep up the good work!)
