just this week I was asked to complete a survey from Elsevier about the reviewing process from a journal paper I recently reviewed, and the survey was just a bunch of poo poo asking how I felt about integrating LLMs into the peer review process and it RELALY irked me. I mean, nothing about that was surprising, but trying to pitch that garbage feels somewhat insulting when the peer review process is already people volunteering to do a ton of work for basically no benefit.
