I'm really not sure what to think about a triple crown. A new Continental belt just seems thrown in there so it's kind of worthless, and ROH & NJPW Strong without branded top titles would be really weird unless they're doing some sort of ROH/Strong merger. I have to think that's what they're going for, so maybe they'll announce something soon. But if that's the case, then adding a new belt just so they can use the phrase "triple crown" seems ostentatious.

Also lol at Tony comparing this to the J-Crown on the live special, when it's only one guy putting his belts in and it's not single-elimination. That's a hell of a reach.

The problem with Swerve winning the C2 is that he'll be a triple crown champion, so they wouldn't put him in the world title program until he drops that, as much as Swerve cleaning up the too many title situation by simply winning them all and unifying them would be awesome.

Wrestling needs a Quadruple Crown Champion, friend. He can gift the other belts to Cage, Nana, and the Gates of Agony.

I think the triple crown as a belt could work based on the idea it is composed of titles from 3 companies and thus doesn't belong to any one company and can be challenged for by the locker room of any company.

This is what I’m hoping for as well, with the caveat that the Continental Title is only defended in the tournament each year. We really don’t need another men’s singles title.

It should have just been a tournament for the #1 contendership to the world title

Like Cyrus the Younger before him Swerve's problem will be far to many crowns and to few friends to share them with.

I'm OK if they keep trying to push Skye Blue, I don't have a final opinion on her yet. From her appearance on HeyEW, I'm worried that she is only capable of giving dull stoner girl energy. She completely no sold RJ, and not in a good way IMO. But, her post mist character seems to have a bit more fire, so I hope to be proven wrong.

Also I apologize if this if my mention of Cyrus the Younger derails another AEW thread into a discussion about whether Alexandermania was actually as good in retrospect as it seemed at the time or at what point the RWO jump the shark (there were problems even before they split into RWO East and West).

With Juice Robinson on the shelf, I think a shift of him going solo and joining BCG would be a good change for him. Let's see if Angelo can swim without him. They can both do great promos but they never go anywhere. I want Stab's boys to succeed.

:yeah:

It's a double-edged sword. Syncing up all the picks raises the ceiling and lowers the floor on your potential number of correct picks.

Once all the picks are in, and the forms are combined, I should* be able to automate the predicted W-L-T standings for each participant.

* - if I can MacGyver data together as well in Sheets as I used to do in Excel
