Let's not forget that in three losses, the first was against a really good defense and we win with a made field goal. The other two he was concussed, of course he played like poo poo. Shanahan shares some of the blame because the scheme in those two games wasn't up to par, but Purdy wasn't going to be on-point for either. Officially he had cleared concussion protocols the day before the Bengals game, but if you watch the tape he clearly wasn't at 100%.

The box score only looks terrible (-ly funny) because nobody ever looks at the defensive stats. There are more than a few offenses that can get a touchdown or two against that D, but not all that many. I look at that less a case of "no Bears TDs" than one of "4 scoring drives versus 2".
