If it's only for a night I can live without you
Pats defense is not as good as they look, they just feast on bad opponents. If everyone was healthy yeah maybe, but this is all a mirage

I also feel like they get cupcake treatment where nobody is really going to bust out the deep playbook to beat their sorry asses

And it made one-eighth the difference.
Titans fired their ST Coordinater after allowing two blocked punts, the latter ending our punter's season.

Probably wise. Wilson's stock is already rock bottom, and getting behind the wheel of that jalopy again isn't going to improve it.

the line ain't going up this year but it could still go down! especially if he tears an ACL or something behind that travesty of a line

Refusing to play out of spite is not the kind of thing Wilson should be learning from Rodgers.

nah I kind of get this from Wilson's perspective. for one this may be his self-preservation instinct kicking in as he remembers what the team's offensive line is like. more than that getting replaced with Tim Boyle is a pretty big insult, especially given the team had Super Bowl aspirations and wasn't quite out of the hunt yet. like if your job replaced you with a monkey and then a few weeks later called and said "can you come back, the monkey's not working out", you'd probably be reluctant too

I mean we are testing this theory already this year since like over half the league is loving trash cans. What happens is they still beat New England (unless you are the Jets or Bills :laffo:)

yea maybe there's a way to search this but it seems every year there's a couple games between totally inept offenses where the o/u winds up being something under 34 (Jets/Falcons this last week I think was one of them actually) and afaik it pretty much always goes under

Wait Henry isn’t in the concussion protocol???

And didn't someone get back in the game yesterday after getting checked for a concussion? Which shouldn't happen since they made that Tua rule last year? It feels like they stopped enforcing the rules the last few weeks

amusingly some books opened with Chargers -6.5 last week meaning if you bet the Patriots they covered the spread while scoring 0 points. wonder how many times in NFL history that's happened.

Is there a way for teams to score negative points? If so, this is the game it will happen in.

Hey, that would be a fun idea for defensive touchdowns: your team doesn't get 6 points, the other team loses 6 and they can go into negative scores. Would be very funny to see on a scoreboard

Just keep looking at what we're doing, keep watering and ask yourselves first and know 'Are you watering? And are you fertilizing every day?' So when it's time to pop, it'll pop.

Just a shitload of injuries that he hasn't been able to fully recover from. The worst have been the back surgeries. He doesn't have the speed or agility that he used to have. So he's become a slow ILB that can't really do anything but tackle someone that comes right at him. He's a liability in coverage now and can't hit the gaps like he used to. Like when you see him run, he runs like an old man. It sucks.

I love the guy and the will is there. He just hasn't been able to come to terms with the fact that his body can't do what he wants it to do.

Considering some of the QBs he had to do that with, he definitely has a strong HoF argument. Having a ring helps too!
