I wasn't sure if Barking Gecko got one. But, I'll give a shot to an idea in my head. A: my idea went off the rails a bit. But, I had a different idea while playing around and did a little. I could improve it if it helps. The text might be hard to read. I like the font, but I might need to thicken the inner stroke(lol)

My first idea dropped fast when I realized I can't animate a bark. Burned off a bunch of tokens on getting a baseline image to play with. I'm plugging away (slowly) at a sig for you. my current thoughts are something winter chess themed, sort of like this:  . . . with some byob stuff mixed in. any input at this early stage is welcome, I don't know exactly how it's gonna shape up yet (I have ideas, some of which are probably too much work!).

It's about the size of JPEG, but allows animations because it's basically a video format converted into an image format, so it can do that too and much better than GIF, while working on every modern browser, including (I imagine) the different Awful Apps.

I guess a better question is what tools are recommended for making animated webp's then (especially transparent ones) I know I'm probably working stupidly inefficiently: I've been using vegas and exporting the frames as images to gimp to make a gif (and for the backgrounds, initially converting a gif to video to manipulate in vegas) I'm still prob going to continue making sigs as gifs for the janky style, but could always have use for webps elsewhere

Also, Mani could you shoot me info on how you made that in case I figure out the details on how to make my sig work as a game? I can't do 3d, but I'm now really wanting a BYOB chess and I can maybe program it into the thing I made my other games with in 2d. maybe with effort(months) I could do it with Source.
