I'd like to try one for Manifisto. I have an idea, I also got goatse'd by staring at your av. I'm trying to collect sigs like trading cards, so if anyone hasn't done me one then please jump on it. Otherwise, anyone doing one up in an evil christmas theme would be cool. Or anything. haha. I wasn't sure if Barking Gecko got one. But, I'll give a shot to an idea in my head. A: my idea went off the rails a bit. But, I had a different idea while playing around and did a little. I could improve it if it helps. The text might be hard to read. I like the font, but I might need to thicken the inner stroke(lol)

My first idea dropped fast when I realized I can't animate a bark. Burned off a bunch of tokens on getting a baseline image to play with. Turns out that there are reasonably no photos of a gecko and kitten in hammock, lol. |

Also, Mani could you shoot me info on how you made that in case I figure out the details on how to make my sig work as a game? I can't do 3d, but I'm now really wanting a BYOB chess and I can maybe program it into the thing I made my other games with in 2d. maybe with effort(months) I could do it with Source.

does transparency work on stuff. I dig the tilted one that looks like a card. I just keep finding out new things from sig threads. Manifisto posted:are you asking about how I made your sig? I used blender, don't know if you're familiar with blender but it's an insanely powerful free open source 3d program. blender does not have a built in game engine per se, but it is used by a bunch of people for making game assets and the like. so for example the "pieces" on the board, with work, I might be able to turn into files that could be used in another program (e.g. unreal, unity, godot, hell I don't know from game engines unfortunately) I have Blender but am just not good at making stuff. I made a thread about my idea. I do know there's conversions and I have made assets for games(not 3d) and have dealt with like skin maps and such, just nowhere near doing this kind of things. |

DSP wanted to steal it and gently caress yea. I don't know what to do with it, but I wanna make it easy to go from if anyone has an idea. not everyone works like i do and i only get poo poo done when the mood and ideas hit together. I'm impressed by people that can actually just do work without the kick I have to have before I even have an idea. |

there were a couple good avs when i requested for PrincessDoom but she didn't pick one. I'm gonna end up using them in sigs for her sometime or something. I figure the sig threads aren't a bad place for new avs either. not much difference, other than size, when making something fun for someone. |
