Look I worked at animal shelters for a while and you see a really dark side of the public there. They do their best to get the cats n dogs out to adoption and rescues but there just isn't enough money to build infinitely expanding menageries of dogs. Maybe they can get work training or something

yeah Im all about adopting rescue animals but Im not going to pick up some rednecks abandoned pit bull with major behavioral issues which in my experience is like 80% of shelter dogs. dont blame the spca blame the poo poo humans that ruin perfectly good animals

The SPCA here are having a 50% off sale for all the influx of animals they're getting and I'm seriously thinking of adopting one of the older cats. I'm allergic to short-haired cats though and they all seem to be short-hair
