Kyuss One Inch Man Josh went on to form Queens of the stone age and become a huge rock star, but for me Kyuss is the better, cooler band. They were a bunch of kids (Josh Homme was 17 when their first album came out), who started off playing at generator parties in the desert.

sock it to me! posted:Kyuss Hell yeah. The song "Thumb" to open that album is so awesome. For everyone else, if you like heavy metal/hard rock, you need to check out Kyuss if you haven't heard them. Such a distinct sound. Everything they put out is great, and like you say, Homme's work in QOTSA is also amazing (also a distinctive sound, similar to Kyuss).
