i love red lentils, though they're'nt beans. favorite bean is probably black bean. they're great for refried beans as well because they will turn to protein slime real nice but they're also great in soups, salads, various mexican food. love a black bean

a pulse is the dried edible seed of a legume. peanuts and soybeans don't count as pulses because they have more fat. i don't make the rules but there they are
