This was more of a video game year for me than a movie year, so I don't have a list, but my favorite movie this year was Talk to Me. I just thought it was a really well crafted horror movie that dodges pretty much all the cliches of a horror film about teenagers contacting the dead. Great characters, funny at times, dark as gently caress sometimes and a killer ending. I really wish there were more movies like this that bridged the gap between lovely teen horror and pretentious arthouse horror.
