is a great version of What Child of This, and the transition to a totally different song at about 2:48 just...okay, I am one of those old saps that can be moved to tears by pretty much any dramatic music, okay? I'm not ashamed to admit it, and the sort of combined desperation and hope the singer evokes here nails me every drat time.

Not a song, but Connie Willis's short story "Adaptation" is my favorite Christmas story and by extension my favorite adaptation of A Christmas Carol".

Her story "Epiphany" is my favorite Epiphany story and honestly my favorite short story of hers overall.
