I don't think it was the character himself, I was just getting fed up with the show. Cyber-brigadier was my breaking point, I found it offensive and I haven't even seen any episodes with him lol.

I just can't get over the part in Nightmare in Silver where Warwick Davis' character is like "Yeah they blew up several solar systems to stop the cybermen, killing trillions, but you know who I feel bad for? The guy who had to pull the trigger". Then you find out he's the guy that pulled the trigger...

It's also a nice demonstration of how a good Doctor/companion dynamic works, while the Doctor is hyperfixating on the problem presented to him and assuming everything is all down to him again, Amy is noticing the small details and seeing human empathy. Just ate everyone else though lol.

Its a video so you can see that the actual order of the shots is the distant shot then the close up shot.
