I thought Fortitude wasn't well received around here because it jumped the shark at some point. I don't think I ever finished S1. For a coulda-been-great film set in a very cold place, check out Smilla's Sense Of Snow. The first part is very good but the second half feels like a completely different movie.

I can't believe La Brea is still on, 3rd season I think. I watched a few early episodes and it was pretty goofy! It just boggles my mind that is still on but we can't have nice things like more Wayne or Raised By Wolves. Also, how is Wayward Pines? The first few episodes are alright. Hell yeah, glad you liked it. It's awesome that every couple of months we get someone posting about seeing it for the first time, and the reaction is almost always very positive. It's so, so good.

Both genuinely epic in tone, in the old school mythological sense, and also so ludictously batshit that I couldn't help but laugh. I'm rewatching RbW and I'm only halfway through S1 and it's good and werd, but I'm looking forward to S2 for all the truly nutty poo poo. I hadn't heard of KAOS but that looks cool. Sell me on Fortitude. I'm almost at the end of S1. Does it get better or go places?

I've enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Sugar. I can watch Colin Farrel in anything. What I'm really digging though, after waiting way too long to start it, is Resident Alien. I can't imagine anyone but Alan Tudyk in the role of Harry, he's fantastic. I'm only 3 episodes in and it's extremely my poo poo.

Finished S1 of Resident Alien. I haven't been this enamored with a show in a while. It's super funny and has a lot of heart. Alan Tudyk is so good it hurts. Lots of great characters combos - Liv and Big Black, D'Arcy and Judy, the kids and Harry. I thought the finale was a bit weak with Harry and Atsa at the end but overall it was a great first season. I'm glad I have S2 and S3 to blaze through. I'm pretty sure i spotted Sarah Tomko (Atsa) in a pharmaceutical commercial!

I think he's a good host. He does deep research to come up with questions that often legit surprise the guest in a fun, charming way. He mirrors whatever the guest is going through while enduring the wings. And he uses his hands a lot when he's talking.

Like the best idea would be a reboot in spirit where you tell similar stories with new characters. I know Beecher and O'Reilly are still alive at the end but I'm not sure about any others.

12 Monkeys, Halt And Catch Fire, The Americans, Mr Robot, all have fantastic finales. Coincidentally these are 4 of my favorite shows ever! I'm OK with how BSG and LOST ended too.
