I sort of lost track of it, I guess because of shogun and the arc with the white lady trying to get the blueprints from the architect yada yada being a bit stale It's okay. Maybe a bit better than the first season but still dragged down by a lot of goofy acting (Ansel Elgort and whoever plays Tozawa are both mediocre in their roles, and the talent drops off steeply outside the central characters) and a utilitarian script with zero surprises. It doesn't measure up to two other bilingual shows I've watched recently, Giri/Haji and Shogun

Daymn Tokyo Vice is getting wild with like, 5 different threads all intersecting, it rules. I think 1 or 2 more eps this season? Great show, this season even better than the first. Makes me want to visit Japan for all the narrow street neighbourhoods and vending machines just kind of placed wherever ~Yakuza gumi clubhouse, about 5 machines just right outside their door lol~

I watched the Roadhouse remake. It's just kind of nothing. It lacked humour and charm. Normally I like Jake Gyllenhaal, but he's a blank slate videogame avatar in this. Not enough was done with the supporting cast to make it feel there was a community being defended. The original was cartoony so I could go along with the idea that you need an action hero for a pub bouncer, but this is more down to earth in tone, with the notable exception of Conor McGregor who was very out of place but also the only thing I really liked in the film. I don't like that it made me like Conor McGregor.
