Just got out of Godzilla x Kong, think it was probably the best MonsterVerse movie since Skull Island. The series finally seems fully confident and comfortable in what it wants to be, and Shimo is probably the best original kaiju design they've had.

OK guys, I know I've had a bad run with movies so far this year. But tonight I had an ace up my sleeve. A movie from a genre I like, that had gotten a lot of positive buzz for being unique and taking chances with the format. I was locked and loaded for a good time. I watched The Outwaters. I no longer believe there were ever such a thing as good movies.

Delon pulls off Ripley way better than I'd have thought. For such a charismatic and handsome man he plays needy and annoying quite well. Also very funny that Maurice Ronet dies in a love struggle with Delon in 2 films.
