Been on a Connery kick, The Man Who Would Be King and The Name of the Rose. Already posted about the former, but the later was a lot of fun too. Sherlock Holmes but monks set in a spectacular cathedral and lit brilliantly. Murder mystery is actually solid too. Was what I was expecting Witness to be before that one took a midway hour break to become a romance drama (not that that's a bad thing). Something in the water in 1985 about religious sects and murder.

Definitely check out the novel by Umberto Eco if you haven’t.

Silence is one of the two Scorceses I've seen and it owns, and it's very funny that it came out like only a year and a half after I read the book for a college course. Book is also good.

He’s got like 15 other movies that are about as good or better. You should check them out.

I watched Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful. Very different from a lot of his other movies.

Very weird that that movie was spun off into a long running sitcom.

I thought she had a decent amount of characterization in her first film. Endgame yeah she was just kinda there.

Iirc they filmed her Endgame scenes before they filmed Captain Marvel so that’s probably why.

More like Star Bores, I say, having watched 11 of these loving movies, multiple Star Wars TV series, and played countless hours of Star Wars video games
