So it turns out bats are a pretty common source of rabies (although bites are more dangerous than scratches), but in looking it up I found this, which included this.

So, I thought he had been given a raccoon kidney, but it wasn't that after all. He died of rabies after receiving a kidney from another person who died of rabies.

Why they chose to harvest organs from someone who died "with vomiting and upper extremity paresthesias and progressed to fever, seizures, dysphagia, autonomic dysfunction, and brain death" remains a mystery.

My cat Autolycus passed away today, a nine-year-old clown prince who had baseball mitts for paws and made friends with everyone he met. He had advanced kidney disease but was a fighter; he lived three years longer than anyone thought he would. Last month before Christmas he relapsed and my wife and I turned our home into a cat hospice. His vet gave him three days and he grabbed three weeks instead, and we made those three weeks as comfortable for him as possible. I don't really have any strong opinions on the latest mary worth storyline, it was sorta amusing personally in how whack it was, but also how it seemed to just land flat on it's face and defused any potential interesting story in the most lacklustre way.

It did not go where I thought it would. I thought the way the daughter reacted to her finding he was ex-military and ex-cop and running off was kinda crazy and hilarious and I thought this was what the story was gonna be about it and it would be something about how both would see beyond the others differences bla bla bla meeting in the middle, nothing terribly offensive or extreme in any way.

Instead the story had a bunch of weird twists and turns that mostly resulted in little to no resolutions. Felt like a bunch of branching dead ends.

I didn't think the mother would play a big role at all in the story to be honest but apparently she took over and the father-daughter storyline got showed to the side.

It feels like a story they started, got bored with, and decided to just end.

But I'm still not convinced this is over yet. Sure looks like it, but I'm not so sure.

If I remember right, this evolved into basically being about the Rev. Will B. Dunn, with the actual Kudzu only showing up sometimes. That's how I remember it by the time I read it anyways. I don't remember liking it, to be honest. I wouldn't recommend adding it to your routine unless you want to.

Umm, how big is this school's theater budget? SpongeBob was a Broadway show - it has songs written by John Legend, David Bowie, Sarah Bareilles, etc - I can't imagine the licensing is super cheap.
